China’s A-share optical and optoelectronics sector led the market higher, with multiple stocks posting sharp gains.
According to Jin10, Hanbo Hi-Tech rose more than 16%, while Lianjian Optoelectronics and Liande Equipment previously hit the 20% daily limit.
TCL Technology and Aoto Electronics closed at their daily limit-up levels. BOE A shares briefly touched the limit-up and reached their highest level since February 2008.
Several other names also advanced strongly, including Han’s Laser, Tongxingda, and Fuguang, each rising more than 8%.
