A spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds has not been transferred to Iran.
According to Odaily, the spokesperson said the funds are governed by a 2023 agreement and are designated for the purchase of humanitarian goods.
