On-chain investigator ZachXBT said he sold all Meme tokens sent to him and donated the proceeds to Direct Relief through The Giving Block after allegations that he profited from selling a fan airdrop and caused the token’s price to fall.
According to Foresight News, the response addressed claims from a community user that ZachXBT sold Meme tokens airdropped to his wallet for about $10,000, contributing to a price decline.
ZachXBT said he had previously made clear that people should not create tokens. He added that after receiving the tokens, he sold them and donated all proceeds via The Giving Block to Direct Relief for earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela.
He also released on-chain transaction and donation records as evidence.
