i-CABLE Communications (1097) said it will prioritize integrating and better utilizing its existing platforms, including its TV channels, social media platforms, MTR in-carriage video and outdoor advertising screens, to produce content suited to each platform and enhance advertising effectiveness, according to Ming Pao.

New CEO and executive director Wong Nga-fan made the remarks while answering shareholder questions at the company’s annual general meeting. She said the initial response from advertisers and sponsors has been positive, including support from Midea, which she said had not previously placed ads.

Wong also said the group has been discussing potential cooperation with mainland China platforms and overseas producers to create programs and content. She added that the company is exploring combining its existing broadband network with program and content distribution to increase revenue sources.
