SoftBank Group Chairman Masayoshi Son told the company’s annual shareholders meeting on June 24 that SoftBank aims to become an “overwhelmingly No. 1” robotics company globally by bringing together leading robotics companies across vertical sectors, according to 36Kr. Son also said SoftBank plans to complete the acquisition of Swiss industrial group ABB’s robotics business in 2026.
