Pafin, the operator of Japanese crypto asset management service Cryptact, has acquired crypto tax service provider Gtax and plans to complete a brand integration in October this year. According to Foresight News, the deal was reported by Nikkei.
The companies said the restructuring was prompted by revisions to Japan’s Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, which for the first time brings cryptocurrencies under financial product regulation.
