Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake said he has agreed to provide pro bono advisory support for a potential $100 million Ethereum public goods fund, with further details to be announced. According to Foresight News, Drake disclosed the updates in a post on X.
Drake also said a five-person group, including Vitalik and Drake, will join the architecture team for the Strawmap roadmap draft.
In addition, he said an Ethereum Improvement Proposal aimed at reducing Ethereum block rewards will be released soon. The proposal would ultimately lower the block reward to 0.25 ETH and would stop issuing block rewards when Ethereum staking exceeds 50% of the total supply.
