Economist Nouriel Roubini has launched a tokenized ETF backed 1:1 by the Atlas America Fund ETF.
According to Foresight News, Bloomberg reported that Roubini, who accurately predicted the 2008 financial crisis and later became known for strong criticism of cryptocurrencies, is behind the product.
The Atlas America Fund is a Nasdaq-listed ETF trading under the ticker USAF, with a fund size of about $17 million. It primarily invests in traditional assets including U.S. Treasuries, gold, and real estate investment trusts (REITs), and is intended to provide a diversified portfolio focused on stability and inflation resistance.
