SnowOrigin (Xuemeng Weilai) has secured investment from Gong Hongjia, Kai-Fu Lee, and overseas institutions, according to 36Kr. The Beijing-based team is building a human-operation data collection solution for embodied intelligence using sEMG (surface electromyography) motor-neural signal decoding, combining a neural wristband, first-person data capture devices, and its self-developed NMH (Neural Math Hybrid) AI decoding model.
The company said its wearable devices, including a neural wristband and a panoramic headband, aim to capture human interaction with the physical world and convert it into structured data covering pose, force, and micro-control for robot training and world models. Founder Qin Xu said the team’s wristband hardware achieves a signal-to-noise ratio above 43 dB, and that in 2023 it built what it described as China’s first model to decode EMG signals in real time into full hand-pose data.
SnowOrigin said it is pursuing two commercialization paths: providing more natural human-machine interaction inputs for devices such as embodied robots and AI glasses, and building data infrastructure services for Physical AI training.
