Bitmine said it has met the eligibility criteria to be included in the Russell 1000 Index, according to a post on X.
According to PANews, the final updated list was released on June 18, and the reconstituted index is set to take effect on June 26.
Bitmine added that many active fund managers invest only in Russell 1000 constituents, and that passive index funds and ETFs are expected to hold 20% to 25% of the market capitalization of stocks added to the index.
