Meta said on Monday it has paused an internal program used for AI training to investigate data security concerns, 36Kr reported. The program tracks employees’ mouse movements and other digital activity.
Previously disclosed documents showed that sensitive data from Meta’s internal system used to monitor employees’ digital interactions was accidentally made accessible for viewing by all Meta employees. Meta confirmed it is conducting an investigation but did not say how long the project will be suspended.
