Manuel Neuer said he is “basically certain” the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be his last tournament for Germany, adding he does not plan to be in goal at the European Championship in two years, according to Yahoo Sports. Neuer retired from the national team after Euro 2024 but returned following talks with coach Julian Nagelsmann, who made the Bayern Munich goalkeeper his No. 1 ahead of Oliver Baumann; Neuer has 125 caps.
