6月6日消息，美国联邦调查局近日表示，“在家工作”的招聘广告骗局正在增加。骗子会主动打电话或发短信联系潜在受害者，提供一份相对简单的工作，如给餐馆评分或通过反复点击按钮“优化”服务。之后受害者会被引导向虚假雇主支付加密货币以“解锁”更多工作，并导致资产损失。
