Peter H. Diamandis, founder of XPRIZE and an early SpaceX investor, said he has continued to buy and hold Bitcoin over the past decade rather than selling during price increases.
According to Odaily, Diamandis wrote that whenever he freed up capital from other trades over the past 10 years, he put those funds into Bitcoin and still holds a significant amount for the long term.
He added that going forward, when he has idle funds, he plans to invest in SpaceX, which he described as a company with major significance.
Diamandis said he expects SpaceX’s share price to decline when locked-in shareholders are able to sell shares and some shareholders cash out. He said his SpaceX investment is not aimed at quarterly share-price gains but at supporting the development of an off-world economy.
