A Bosera Fund manager said China’s STAR Market is positioned to support “hard technology” companies that align with national development priorities, achieve breakthroughs in key core technologies, and have strong market recognition.
According to Jin10, Tang Yibing, a fund manager in the Index and Quantitative Investment Department at Bosera Fund, said overall A-share earnings in the first quarter exceeded expectations, and that growth-oriented segments represented by the STAR Market entered an accelerated phase in performance.
Tang also said that as China speeds up the construction of a new-type power system, competition in the energy storage industry is expected to gradually shift from single-device competition toward comprehensive capabilities that combine hardware, software, and operational services.
He added that digital and intelligent technologies are expected to have broad commercial prospects in business-to-business applications within the energy storage sector.
