Tesla CEO Elon Musk is set to appear online on Thursday at an event hosted by Dutch chip-equipment maker ASML to present plans for a large chip-manufacturing facility called “Terafab.”
According to Jin10, the project is intended to supply chips for Tesla and for SpaceX, which is preparing for an initial public offering.
An ASML spokesperson said in a statement that Musk will share his vision for artificial intelligence, robotics, space, and semiconductor manufacturing.
The report also said SpaceX’s IPO pricing is expected to be announced later on Thursday, and described the deal as potentially one of the largest IPOs in history.
