AI-driven anti-fraud infrastructure provider InfoHawk has raised $2.25 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Moonshots Capital.
According to ChainCatcher, the company said the proceeds will be used to develop AI-based content identification and infrastructure analysis tools aimed at helping businesses detect, analyze, and combat large-scale online fraud.
InfoHawk said the targeted threats include phishing sites, brand impersonation, and deepfake attacks. The round also included participation from former U.S. Federal Trade Commission Chair Jon Leibowitz, AppNexus founder Brian O'Kelley, former Meta advertising executive Rob Goldman, and GitHub CTO Vlad Fedorov.
