Ministry of Commerce: Urge Japan to remove relevant Chinese entities from the export control end-user list as soon as possible

On November 2nd, on October 30th, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao met with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Ryosho Chizawa in Gyeongju, South Korea, and the two sides conferred on China-Japan economic and trade relations. Wang Wentao said that at present, unilateralism and protectionism are impacting the international economic and trade order, and the two sides should meet each other halfway and make good use of mechanisms such as export control dialogues to jointly maintain the stability and smoothness of the supply chain. China urges Japan to remove relevant Chinese entities from the export control end-user list as soon as possible. It is hoped that the two sides will jointly safeguard the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core, promote the process of regional economic cooperation, and inject more stability into the Akasawa said that Japan attaches great importance to developing economic and trade relations with China, and is willing to build a constructive and stable relationship with China, actively engage in policy dialogue, enhance understanding and mutual trust, expand practical cooperation, and jointly safeguard the rules-based international economic order.
