The first three quarters of the national urban employment 10.57 million

On October 29th, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security released today that from January to September, 10.57 million new jobs were added in cities and towns across the country, completing 88% of the annual target tasks, and the employment situation remained generally stable. In the first three quarters, the country issued a total of 19.60 billion yuan in return funds for stabilizing jobs, and 16.60 billion yuan in support of employment such as training. A one-time job expansion subsidy of 900 million yuan was issued to 140,000 enterprises, benefiting young people such as 600,000 college graduates. As of the end of September, the number of people participating in basic pension, unemployment and work-related injury insurance nationwide was 1.074 billion, 248 million and 304 million respectively. From January to September, the total income of the three social insurance funds was 6.69 trillion yuan, the total expenditure was 6.04 trillion yuan, and the accumulated balance at the end of September was 9.85 trillion yuan. As of the end of September, the number of social security card holders nationwide reached 1.39 billion, covering 98.9% of the population, 1.10 billion of whom used electronic social security cards.
