On October 7, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that China and the DPRK are traditional friendly neighbors. Maintaining, consolidating and developing China-DPRK relations has always been an unswerving strategic policy of the Chinese party and government. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea. China is willing to take this visit as an opportunity to work with the DPRK to take the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and two countries as a guide to strengthen strategic communication, close exchanges and cooperation, and promote the continuous development of China-DPRK traditional friendly cooperative relations.
