Crypto-friendly bank Nubank has announced that it has applied to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for a banking license to explore U.S. banking services. If approved, it will enable the bank to provide deposit accounts, credit cards, loans, and digital asset custody services in the U.S. market. It is reported that Nubank has launched a cryptocurrency transfer function last year, allowing users to send and receive cryptoassets through wallets, supporting Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana networks.
