On May 8th, it was reported that the Cosmos community is voting on the "Gaia v16 upgrade" proposal, and the voting deadline is May 10th.
According to the presentation, the Gaia v16 upgrade will include four major new features: an ICA controller submodule, an IBC rate limiting module (with the initial rate limits outlined in Proposition 890), an IBC fee module, and ICS epochs (part of ICS v4.1.0). At the same time, after the governance vote is approved, the relevant binaries of Gaia v16.0.0 need to be updated and submitted to Cosmos Hub. The update process will take about two weeks.
