On May 7th, Silent Protocol, a scalable privacy layer, launched the modular L1.5 Ghost Layer on Ethereum, a solution designed to provide privacy enhancements for compliance with public blockchains for retail and institutional applications.
Silent said Ghost Layer uses a zero-knowledge (ZK) -based system and its proprietary 0VM technology. The implementation of 0VM technology allows Ghost Layer to advance system state while verifying updates and using the underlying ledger for status verification via zksnarks.
