Li Jiachao: Promote the cross-border flow of mainland data to Hetao Hong Kong Park

On September 17, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, delivered a new policy address at the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (17th). Li Jiachao said that Hong Kong will make greater use of the advantages of "one country, two systems" to promote the early realization of cross-border flow of mainland data under compliance security protection to the Hong Kong Park in the Loop for scientific research, to help AI application testing and innovation. In addition, following the establishment of the artificial intelligence supercomputing center in Cyberport and the launch of the "artificial intelligence funding scheme" by the SAR government, about 10 hectares of data park development land in Shaling, North District will be launched this year as market invitation tenders to provide advanced computing power facilities to promote the development of data and AI-related industries.
