VivoPower deploys XRP at a low price through mining token replacement strategy

XRP reserve company VivoPower said its mining unit Caret Digital will expand its mining fleet and swap the mined tokens for XRP through a "volume" discount. The company said the strategy would allow it to obtain XRP exposure at a discount of about 65%. Previously, VivoPower has deployed XRP through private placement, Ripple equity acquisition and income plan, and further combined electric vehicle business Tembo with XRP stablecoin RLUSD payments, while investing $30 million of XRP into institutional income plans to reinvest the proceeds. The company's shares fell slightly by 0.5% on Tuesday, with a market value of about $50 million.
