South Korean court orders Wemade to pay $7.14 million to former employee

On August 22nd, according to Nwes1, the Seoul Central District Court in South Korea made a ruling in part in favor of the plaintiffs in the claim lawsuit filed by current and former Wemade employees against the company. The court ruled that Wemade must compensate him a total of 9.93928 billion won (about 7.14 million US dollars). Last July, 27 current and former Wemade executives and employees filed a lawsuit against the company for 16.17648 billion won. A former employee of Wemade subsidiary Wemade Tree said the company had promised to pay but did not deliver, so he filed the lawsuit.
