The Chinese government proposes to establish a world artificial intelligence cooperation organization, initially considering headquartered in Shanghai

On July 26th, the Chinese government proposed the establishment of the World artificial intelligence Cooperation Organization. This is an important measure for China to adhere to multilateralism and promote joint consultation and shared global governance. It is also a practical action for China to respond to the voice of the global south, help bridge the digital and intelligent divide, and promote the development of artificial intelligence for good and universal benefit. Preliminary consideration is that the organization is headquartered in Shanghai.
