据Cryptoslate报道，法国立法者提交议案，计划利用核电站多余电力进行比特币挖矿，预计每年可产生1-1.5亿美元收入。该五年试点计划将允许挖矿中心与核电设施共址，仅在电力过剩时启动，同时回收挖矿产生的热量用于供暖或工业用途。该提案已于7月11日提交至法国国民议会。
