According to the Hong Kong Economic Journal, Liu Kaixuan, director of Hong Kong Investment Promotion Agency, said that there are currently quasi-stablecoin operators in talks with their financial teams about the opportunity to settle in Hong Kong, and it is expected that soon after the "Stablecoin Ordinance" comes into effect next month, related enterprises will be launched.
Liu Kaixuan said that in the past two and a half years, 630 mainland enterprises have settled in Hong Kong, accounting for about 48%. Due to the support of national policies for enterprises to go overseas, Hong Kong will become a springboard. It is believed that among the enterprises that will settle in Hong Kong in the future, mainland enterprises will still have a certain proportion.
