Nasdaq-listed bitcoin miner IREN announced that it will issue a private placement of 3.50% convertible senior notes due 2029 to qualified institutional buyers, increasing the total issuance size from the previous $450 million to $500 million, in addition to an additional $50 million of over-allotment, with expected net proceeds of approximately $534.90 million. The related funds will be used to cover the cost of capped call option transactions, prepaid forward transaction fees, and general corporate purposes and Working Funds.
