IAEA reports: Three sites (Lavishan-shian, Varamin, Marivan) and other potentially relevant sites were part of an undeclared structured nuclear program until the early 2000s, with some activities using undeclared nuclear material. Iran retained unknown nuclear material and/or heavily contaminated equipment from a previously undeclared structured nuclear program in Turquzabad between 2009 and 2018, after which the items were removed.
