Singapore court rejects liquidation request by crypto investment firm Cake Group

Singapore's High Court today rejected an application for liquidation by U-Zyn Chua, the former CTO of Cake Group. In addition to ruling that there was no reason to shut down the cryptocurrency company, Judicial Commissioner Alex Wong added at the court hearing that it was inappropriate for U-Zyn Chua to seek liquidation as a quick fix to the problem when other remedies were available.
