After overseas visitors to China open a digital RMB wallet, they can scan the WeChat Pay commercial payment code and operating payment code in over one million merchants in the digital RMB pilot area.
The project team is jointly operated by Tenpay and WeBank. Users can also open "WeChat Pay" under the wallet fast payment function, which now supports overseas visitors who have opened digital RMB wallets of Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Construction Bank and Bank of Communications.
