On April 16, the reporter learned from the People's Bank of China today that in 2024, the amount of cross-border RMB business receipt and payment between China and Cambodia was about 20 billion yuan, which doubled year-on-year; among them, the amount of cross-border RMB receipt and payment of goods trade was 4 billion yuan, an increase of 32% year-on-year, accounting for 9% of the cross-border receipt and payment of local and foreign currencies in the same period. In the first quarter of 2025, the amount of cross-border RMB business receipt and payment in Cambodia was 5 billion yuan, an increase of 45% year-on-year.
