Strategists warn that an 8% rise in the Nasdaq in 20 minutes is not much healthier than an 8% decline

Mark Hackett, Chief Market Strategist at National Investment Management Group in Philadelphia: Trump's suspension of tariffs is definitely good news because it shows that the negotiations are in good enough shape that they think they have accomplished what they need to accomplish through the initial conversations. But I want to make a very important caveat because an 8% rise in the Nasdaq in 20 minutes is not much healthier than an 8% decline.... so I'm being careful right now not to give you a safety alert.
