The Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that from March 20, 2025, tariffs will be imposed on some imported goods originating in Canada. The relevant matters are as follows: 1. 100% tariffs will be imposed on rapeseed oil, oil residue cake and peas. 2. 25% tariffs will be imposed on aquatic products and pork. 3. For imported goods listed in the annex originating in Canada, corresponding tariffs will be imposed on the basis of the current applicable tariff rates. The current bonded and tax reduction policies remain unchanged, and the tariffs imposed this time will not be reduced or exempted.
