On February 27, Sun Yuchen announced on social media that he had won the reputation proceedings with Sina. The Beijing Internet Court ruled in favor of Sun Yuchen on December 31, 2024, and found that Sina's previous article "Sun Yuchen is suspected of insider trading, the FBI and the IRS have launched an investigation" constituted reputation rights infringement. Sina issued a public apology statement on February 7, 2025, and chose not to appeal on February 26. It has paid 31,338 yuan in compensation.
