Fed Rate Hold Seen at 62.1% in July, CME FedWatch Data Shows

The CME FedWatch tool put the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in July at 62.1%. According to Jin10, the tool showed a 37.9% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate hike by July.

For September, the CME FedWatch tool showed a 26.4% probability that the Federal Reserve would keep rates unchanged. It also showed a 51.8% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point hike by September and a 21.8% probability of a cumulative 50-basis-point hike by September.
