Starknet: STRK Staking v2 to be launched on the mainnet on June 17

Starknet, the Ethereum Layer 2 network, announced in a post on the X platform that STRK Staking v2 is scheduled to go live on the mainnet on June 17. This upgrade brings two key features to validators: block proof and commission adjustment, allowing validators to increase commissions under strict conditions to protect principals. Starknet added that to ensure the stability of the mainnet implementation of this upgrade, the staking contract will be suspended for a few hours at deployment time, for migration from v1 to v2, and to allow validators time to integrate.
