Panasonic Electric: No decisions have been made on problematic businesses, including the TV business

On February 6th, Panasonic Electric issued a statement saying that on February 4th, Panasonic Holding Co., Ltd. held a briefing for the mass media, institutional investors and analysts on the future management reform of the group. Affected by this, there have been some reports that Panasonic will sell or exit the TV business, which is prone to misunderstanding. However, with regard to problematic businesses, including the TV business, in order to achieve fundamental income structure changes, we are considering all possibilities. As of now, no decisions have been made, including related matters such as sale or exit.
