According to Daily Hodl, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, announced in a statement that plans are in place to launch a CBDC next year. The digital form of the Belarusian ruble will be in full circulation in the second half of 2026 and will support the free use of the CBDC by businesses, government entities and individuals with the goal of 2027.
