Metallica's official X account is suspected of being hacked and promoting METAL tokens
The official X account of the heavy metal band Metallica has been suspected of being hacked and promoting the Solana on-chain token called METAL. According to the relevant post, the token was launched in partnership with Ticketmaster and MoonPay. As of press time, neither side has made a public statement on the legitimacy of this partnership. In addition, the link to the post promoting METAL leads to the official Metallica website, but the website does not have any information about the token.
