Sony blockchain partner Startale Group has teamed up with stablecoin issuance platform M0 to launch the US dollar stablecoin Startale USD (USDSC) on Sony's Web3 ecosystem Soneium. The stablecoin is designed to serve as the default digital dollar for payments, rewards and other functions within the Soneium ecosystem, an Ethereum two-layer network launched last year by Sony Block Solutions Labs, a joint venture between Sony Group and Startale.

Regulated stablecoin services Financial Institution Group Bastion has announced a strategic partnership with Sony Bank's joint stock company. Bastion and Sony Bank will partner to provide stablecoin services to Sony's affiliated companies.
