New York Times: Sam Altman Seeks Investors for Rain AI to Challenge Nvidia
According to the New York Times, sources say Sam Altman is personally pitching Rain AI to investors in OpenAI in the hope that they will provide financial support. Altman is pushing for Rain AI's upcoming $150 million second round of funding, which will value Rain AI at about $600 million. Altman is reportedly one of the anchors of Rain AI's $25 million seed round in 2022. The latest round of funding is expected to begin next month.
