SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce: Crypto ETF physical redemption may be imminent
Hester Peirce, commissioner of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), has said that in-kind redemptions for crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) may be imminent. Peirce was asked during a panel discussion at the Bitcoin Policy Institute on Wednesday if the SEC would approve physical creation and redemption and if it was "just around the corner".
