Investment-grade bond issuance by 15 U.S. issuers fell to $17.60 billion

New bond issuance fell to $17.60 billion in the week ending Feb. 14, down 64% from $48.50 billion in 30 deals in the previous week. So far this month, new bond supply reached $66.10 billion, compared with $102.60 billion in the same period a month ago; year-to-date issuance was $267.70 billion, compared with $289.70 billion in the same period last year. Biggest deals: $6.50 billion from Eli Lilly & Co and $2.25 billion from BCE Inc. (Golden Ten)
