On October 31st, KKR signed a $50 billion strategic partnership with Energy Capital Partners (ECP). The partnership will focus on accelerating the development of data centers, power generation and transmission infrastructure to support the global expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing.
KKR will use its existing infrastructure, real estate strategy, and insurance accounts to fund the partnership; ECP will fund it through existing and future infrastructure capital pools.
