Matt Hougan, chief investment officer at Bitwise, said, "The regulatory environments for Bitcoin are improving whether it's a Trump or Harris win. This is positive news for Bitcoin, especially for other cryptocurrencies. Of course, in the short term, the crypto market is leaning more towards a Trump win than a Harris win, but in reality, institutions are entering the space, adoption is rising, and ETF inflows are underway. I think regulatory clarity is actually more important for so-called counterfeit products, Ethereum and below, which are more vulnerable to regulatory risk, so if Trump wins, I expect counterfeit products to rise more than Bitcoin. But either way, I think both will go higher. "
