Visa Inc. has partnered with Coinbase Global Inc. to enable Visa customers with eligible debit cards to deposit funds into their Coinbase accounts. Coinbase already has millions of connections with customers' debit cards, according to Tuesday's announcement, but this new development enables customers in the U.S. and European Union to transfer funds in real time.
Visa, which supports Coinbase debit cards, said customers can also use eligible debit cards to buy cryptocurrencies on Coinbase and withdraw funds from the platform to their bank accounts through the card.
