Crypto PAC Spends $760,000 to Support Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil's Reelection

Federal Election Commission documents filed on October 28 show that the cryptocurrency political action committee Fairshake spent more than $760,000 on re-election campaign ads in support of Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil. Just a week before the November 5 election, Fairshake's move is considered its final push before the election. Steil has served as Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District since 2019, supporting the 21st Century Financial Innovation and Technology Act and opposing the SEC's Accounting Bulletin 121. He will face off against Democrat Peter Barca on November 5, and polls currently show Steil leading by 3 percentage points.
